Lace vest / bolero / shrugs for toddler

I saw a picture of this kind of vest somewhere, and wanted to try it. It looked like a simple pattern worked in rounds. Here is what I came up with, turned out really really nice.

And most of all it was pretty easy to make, I have always been a little intimidated by vests and boleros..
